What does the PDT registration process entail?
To become registered with PDT, a business verification appointment is scheduled with one of our Verification Associates. The Verification Associate completes a site visit of the company’s office and:
Verifies the company operates out of a functional office
Completes the business verification form which:
- Confirms that the business is registered with the Government of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan (GIRoA)
- Confirms that the owner/majority owners are Afghan citizens
- Provides basic details on the business, including contact information and operational capacity
If the company meets the criteria mentioned above, it is considered registered. The Verification Associate either enters the company’s profile into the Business Portal (if the verification was done in one of PDT’s field offices), or passes the form to the Data Entry Clerk to be entered (if the verification was done in Kabul).
